February is a great time of the year to get away and escape the chilly weather back home, but before you book that well earned holiday, why not have a look through our tips on where’s hot this February.
First off, many of the places we recommended to you in our previous article ‘Where is hot in January’ still apply for February, such as the Carribbean, India, South East Asia and the Gambia so we’re not going to dwell too much on these places again but instead introduce you to some more exciting destinations.
It is too early in the year for guaranteed sunshine in the Med so you will still need to head further south for your winter sun and forego your Monte Carlo Roulette tips. Still fairly close to home though, you will find some excellent last minute deals at this time of year to Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands. However, one word of warning, these can be popular destinations for families so if you do not have children, you may want to avoid the February half term period (usually last week in February).
Shopping in Marrakech
Moving slightly further afield, we think February is an excellent time of year to experience Marrakech and all it’s hustle and bustle, or the wonders of Cairo in Egypt or even relax by the pool and play some Online Roulette. Oman and Jordan are also another two great destinations for those who are seeking a bit of adventure on their holiday as well as sunshine.
It is the height of summer in South Africa so we would throughly recommend a trip to Cape Town where you will not only be treated to guaranteed sunshine but will also be able to witness some amazing festivals and nightlife, not forgetting of course the delectable vineyard tours.

February is also one of the best times of the year for you to go on a wildlife safari, in say the Masai Mara of Kenya and if you want to see a truly amazing sight, make sure you don’t miss the mass wildlife migration from Tanzania to Kenya. You can always go to the Kasino tomorrow.
Finally, you may be put off by the long haul flight, but February is a great time to visit Australia or New Zealand as it is still their summer and the weather should be warm. Flight costs should also have come down following the busy Christmas period.
